Zachersmühle in Adelberg

I've been visiting the Zachersmühle for many years and I've always been satisfied. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated extremely in the past 1.5 years and the location is no longer what it was before. The pumpkin soup offered is far from a soup and perhaps wanted to become one. What was brought to the table is more like a pumpkin puree - unfortunately it tasted absolutely terrible and was inedible. Maultaschen were ok and roast beef was ok. But not the spaetzle and the sauce. Tagliatelle totally overcooked and everything was lacking in general seasoning! But now I come to a point and actually I didn't want to write a review, but I think that you can't leave it like that. Anyone who is a guest at the Zachersmühle and has children will visit the playground on offer. Unfortunately, this is sometimes life-threatening and absolutely not suitable for children. Anyone who lets their children play here must expect everything. Rusty protruding nails and screws, rotten wood and missing slats and boards on the entire system make it a game of chance. Hanging up a sign here, parents are responsible for their children is absolute nonsense, what should parents be responsible for? That the children don't break anything? I think that tries to pull yourself out of responsibility, the. The operator of the play facility must ensure that it is in a tidy and flawless condition so that nothing can happen to anyone and children do not get injured. Of course, parents should also look after their children - but it does not help if you first have to play TÜV and check everything. Here the playground is simply negligently neglected and at the expense of the smallest and that is a real shame. If you want to see what can happen when you let your children play there, you can look at the pictures. It is a play device on which you should actually be able to let your children play without looking permanently. But if boards are missing and children break in and injure themselves, it is not a matter of not looking, but gross negligence on the part of the operator who simply accepts such things and that is not acceptable. It's a shame that everything subsides over time! But I will observe that and I will be happy to change this rating accordingly if the conditions have changed - but until then it should be a warning - to let the children play there. ADDENDUM IN THE meanwhile, THE PLAYGROUND AND EQUIPMENT HAVE BEEN LOCKED! THEREFORE, I AM CHANGING THE STAR RATING AND THANK YOU!

The food was completely overrated, the kid's schnitzel not edible, first time there, never again. However, friendly service.

Wow. But great behind the 7 mountains. The dwarves cook delicious and the donkeys are fun for young and old. Beer garden with charm.

The ambience is great and the beer garden invites you to linger. During my visit, the waitress was a bit overwhelmed with so many guests. I opted for a schnitzel with spaetzle. The spaetzle were great but the schnitzel is not particularly good for that, I only give it 3 stars today. The menu is a bit confusing, the Schnitzel is only on the menu for Wednesday and then costs a lot more on Saturday.

So we were anything but satisfied. We had to wait 1.5 hours for food. Then when I asked, it was said You had a starter. My. Mother in law had a soup my husband and I nothing. Very very rude the waitress. And the prices are extremely high and the portions much too small. So you won't see us again there.

High prices but products from the region and organic and Demeter foods justify that. Nice service. Very inviting ambience. Has been there several times and will be back.

Fast, attentive service. Good menu with typical Swabian dishes but also with vegetarian and other surprises. P.S. the buffet for a friend's birthday was exceptionally tasty and varied. There was really nothing missing.

Have eaten there today with 8 people very well. Reservation worked and the food was excellent :) Tripe, roast onions, salads and the fried potatoes. Delicious! Come back very happy.

This place is existing since many years/decades already. Serving delicious swabian comfort food in an old mill. Great for a visit with children.

Love this place - if you are in the area YOU HAVE TO GO THERE !!
